About me

As a manager I have been successfully responsible for projects and tasks at home and abroad for more than 30 years. Change has always been part of this: Restructuring and change processes, new business models and necessary transformation processes.

In honorary office I was involved for many years as the chairman of the board in several social non-profit organizations and in public functions, and was also active as a lay judge in criminal law - and learned a lot about cooperation during these activities.

Sailing as a child in Hamburg on the Elbe and later on the Baltic Sea. They are still some of my favorite areas today. As I have lived and worked in various places around the world, I have also been able to get to know sailing areas in the Bay of Biscay, the Mediterranean, the Gulf of Mexico, off the east coast of America and Canada on different types of boats. I now have more than 65,000 nautical miles of sailing experience.

My findings and experiencesespecially when dealing with resistance, missed targets or changing framework conditions, flow into my current work as a business and personality coach. It also benefits from my two-year training as a systemic business coach, consultant and trainer. As a coach, I only use methods that are certified by DVNLP, DVCT and ECA and that I have tried and tested in practice.

My journey with post-Covid and fatigue has taught me the most lasting change of course. After turning my back on my life as a manager at the end of 2021 to further my education as a coach, trainer and consultant alongside my numerous voluntary positions, the Covid-19 virus thwarted my plans for the future in 2022. In December 2022, I was diagnosed with Long Covid with ME/CFS. This resulted in significant neurological limitations. Medical rehabilitation in January 2024 made it clear to me: you have to adapt to your possibilities, i.e. accept and respect the changed physical limits. I therefore had to give up my labor-intensive voluntary work, in which I invested 50 to 70 hours a week. My impairments will remain, and probably also the degree of 50% disability. But I look to the future with confidence: osteopathic measures, yoga and pacing bring relief, my sailing yacht is equipped and upgraded with aids for autonomous and power-free sailing. And there's one thing the virus hasn't managed to do: stop me from accompanying people on their path to themselves as a business and personality coach in the second half of my life. With all my heart and with all my strength.
